Our client is a leading international workplace design consultancy, recognised for delivering innovative, high-quality solutions for global corporations across the Asia-Pacific region. With a growing presence and strong project momentum in the Philippines, they are now seeking a commercially astute and design-focused Associate Director, Head of Architecture Business Unit, to lead their Manila operation, with a clear focus on commercial buildings and corporate campus design across Metro Manila and key growth areas.

This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for driving the performance and growth of the architecture business unit in the Philippines market. You will set strategic direction, oversee design delivery, and ensure operational excellence across a portfolio of high-profile workplace, commercial, and campus projects. Working closely with regional leadership, you will lead business development initiatives, strengthen relationships with local developers, corporate occupiers, and consultants, and further establish the firm’s position within Manila’s evolving design and real estate landscape.

A core part of the role will be building and nurturing a high-performance studio in Manila. You will attract, develop, and mentor local design talent, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability. With full P&L responsibility, you will balance commercial performance with design excellence, ensuring projects respond effectively to local regulations, market conditions, and client expectations.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished architectural leader with strong experience in commercial building and workplace design, ideally within international or large-scale consultancy environments and with solid exposure to the Philippines market. You will bring a proven track record of leading studios or business units, delivering complex projects, and driving both creative and commercial outcomes. Strong client engagement, stakeholder management, and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to inspire multi-disciplinary teams and influence at senior levels.
