Our client is a leading international Project Management Consultancy with a strong track record in delivering iconic high-rise and large-scale mixed-use developments across Asia and globally. With a landmark 50+ storey commercial tower now entering a critical delivery phase in Manila, they are seeking an experienced and highly driven Associate Director to take a key on-site leadership role on what will become the tallest building in the Philippines upon completion.

This flagship development will redefine the Manila skyline and set new benchmarks for quality, safety and technical excellence in the region. In line with the scale, complexity and profile of this project, our client requires a hands-on, delivery-focused leader who thrives in a site-based “doer” role and is comfortable operating at the front line of construction management.

Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will take day-to-day responsibility for driving construction execution across major work packages on this 50+ storey commercial building. You will play a central role in ensuring that programme, quality and health & safety objectives are achieved through disciplined site leadership, proactive coordination and rigorous performance management.

This is a senior site leadership position with a strong emphasis on operational delivery. You will work closely with contractors, consultants and specialist subcontractors to ensure works are executed in accordance with approved methodologies, specifications and sequencing strategies. You will actively monitor construction progress, identify risks and constraints, and implement corrective actions to maintain programme momentum.

Health & Safety will be a core focus of the role. You will champion a robust safety culture across site, ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements, corporate standards and international best practice. You will conduct regular inspections, lead safety reviews, challenge unsafe behaviours and ensure that contractors are held accountable for maintaining the highest safety standards on this high-profile project.

Quality assurance and control will be equally critical. You will oversee inspection and test plans, monitor workmanship standards and ensure that all elements of the build meet stringent quality benchmarks appropriate for a flagship commercial asset. You will drive early identification and resolution of defects, coordinate inspections and support structured handover processes.

Working in close alignment with the Project Director, you will contribute to overall project governance, reporting and stakeholder communication. You will provide clear and accurate updates on site progress, risk exposure, safety performance and quality metrics. You will also support commercial oversight through coordination on change management, claims mitigation and interface management across packages.

Leadership is fundamental to this role. You will be a visible presence on site, setting standards for professionalism, discipline and collaboration. You will foster a culture of accountability and performance among contractors and consultants, ensuring that issues are addressed decisively and without delay. As a senior member of the project leadership team, you will act as a key escalation point for construction-related matters.

The successful candidate will bring substantial experience delivering high-rise commercial or mixed-use towers, ideally 40+ storeys and above, within complex urban environments. You will have operated at Senior Project Manager or Associate Director level on major building projects, with clear evidence of hands-on site leadership and full lifecycle construction involvement.

A deep understanding of high-rise construction methodologies, vertical transportation systems, façade installation, structural sequencing and MEP integration is essential. You must demonstrate a strong track record in driving health & safety performance and quality control on large-scale building projects.

Experience working on iconic, high-profile or technically challenging developments will be highly advantageous, as will familiarity with international standards and working within structured project governance frameworks.

You will be a decisive, resilient and highly visible leader who is comfortable being embedded on site full time. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are critical, as you will interface daily with senior client representatives, consultants, contractors and the Project Director.
