Known for combining creative design thinking with strategic insight, the firm partners with global organisations to shape future-focused environments and transformative spatial solutions. As part of its continued growth and thought leadership ambitions, the firm is establishing a new global Research & Insight Division dedicated to exploring the future of the built environment and the evolving nature of work.
In line with this strategic initiative, they are seeking an Associate, Workplace Strategy Research to join this newly created division. Conceived as a blue-sky think tank, the research function will investigate the forces shaping the future of work, workplaces, and organisational culture. While the role offers flexibility on global location initially, the long-term vision is for the research capability to grow from a base in Bangalore as the division expands.
As such, they are looking for a curious and analytically minded professional who is passionate about understanding how organisations, employees, and work environments are evolving. In this role, you will support research initiatives examining hybrid work models, workplace experience, organisational behaviour, portfolio strategy, and the intersection of space, technology, and people.
You will contribute to the development of research publications, white papers, and market insights, gathering and analysing data, identifying global workplace trends, and translating findings into strategic insights that inform both internal design teams and client advisory services. Working closely with the Head of Research and workplace strategy leaders, you will help connect research thinking with real-world workplace transformation projects.
The successful candidate will bring a background in workplace strategy, organisational research, design strategy, business transformation, or a related discipline, with a strong interest in the future of work and the role of space in supporting organisational performance. You will be comfortable working with both qualitative and quantitative research methods and have the ability to synthesise complex information into clear, compelling insights.
Strong analytical, communication, and storytelling skills are essential, along with an interest in data-driven workplace decision-making, emerging technologies, and new models of collaboration and productivity.
