Our client is a leading International Engineering & Commissioning Firm working with major international companies in the design, delivery, testing and commissioning of high-tech facilities across the region including Life Sciences and Manufacturing Facilities. With the increasing demand for Healthcare Products in Asia, they are currently working with several major Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in Japan and have multiple roles they are seeking to recruit in Yamagata in Japan.

As such, they are seeking a trilingual Translator with native Japanese, business Mandarin and at least intermediate-level English capabilities. As translator for the Project and Engineering team, you will assist them in translating project and team discussions to facilitate clear communication between the project team and client. You will coordinate communication channels to ensure inquiries, requests and follow-ups are met. You will assist in translating project and internal documents, which may also include technical documents and specifications, as well as prepare and review project correspondences in various languages. You will coordinate and facilitate meetings and calls providing translation services, either on-site or virtually. 

As translator to the team, you will be educated to degree level with pre-requisite language capabilities in Mandarin, Japanese and English. You will be highly organised with strong attention to detail. Prior experience working within a construction company or in the pharmaceutical environment will be highly advantageous. You will be based in the Yamagata area with the capability to travel and assist with other areas of business operations where required.
