As the brand continues to expand its global footprint across Africa, the Middle East, and other high-value ecotourism regions, they are now seeking a Development Director, Global to lead the next phase of their growth journey.

This senior role will oversee the full development lifecycle, from concept creation and site identification through design, feasibility, and delivery. Working closely with the executive team and a broad network of investors and land partners, you will shape new destinations that reflect the brand’s signature balance of sophistication, sustainability, and soul.

You will be responsible for identifying and assessing new opportunities, building and managing the development pipeline, and coordinating across diverse stakeholder groups — including conservation bodies, local communities, design studios, and project financiers. A central focus will be ensuring that each lodge or resort combines commercial strength with creative and ecological authenticity, resulting in places that both perform and inspire.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in luxury lodge or resort development, particularly within remote or environmentally sensitive locations. A track record in low-impact, high-value projects — as well as familiarity with private investors, family offices, or conservation-driven ownership models — will be highly regarded. You will be a natural collaborator with strong financial and leadership skills, capable of navigating cross-cultural partnerships and delivering complex projects with precision and empathy.
