Our client is one of the fastest-growing Colocation Data Centre Developers in the South East Asia region. With several major new Hyperscale Data Centres under development in Malaysia and Indonesia, they are seeking a strong Finance Director to join their busy team delivering assets in Malaysia.

With a major project underway in Johor, they are seeking a seasoned Finance Director to join their busy team. This will be a fund platform-level role, requiring experience working with real estate investment and development fund structures and regulatory requirements in Malaysia and Johor. You will oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting, including financial operations, reporting, cash flow management, budget, forecasting, strategy, and planning. You will ensure compliance with local financial standards, laws, and reporting regulations, as well as hold responsibility for financial planning to ensure profitable growth amongst other activities.

The successful candidate will be qualified in Finance or Accounting and ideally hold a professional qualification. You will have at least 10 years experience in a senior financial leadership role, ideally within real estate investment vehicles. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as technical capabilities, and thrive in a fast-paced growth environment, being able to structure and install systems and processes in a young and growing business.
