Our client is one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing colocation data centre developers, with major hyperscale facilities under development across Malaysia and Indonesia. As they deepen their presence in the region, they are seeking a seasoned investment and asset management professional to lead a critical new opportunity in Indonesia.

In this unique role, you’ll first take the lead in the acquisition of a key data centre asset—overseeing commercial due diligence, market analysis, and stakeholder negotiations. Working alongside technical, legal, and design teams, you’ll validate the asset’s performance and growth potential, ultimately shaping the investment case and seeing the deal through to completion.

Following the acquisition, you’ll step in as General Manager for the asset, taking full P&L and operational ownership. Your focus will shift to scaling the business: building a local team, ensuring service excellence for hyperscale clients, and driving expansion across the Indonesian market. This is not just a leadership role; it’s an opportunity to create and execute a national growth strategy for a mission-critical digital infrastructure platform.

We’re looking for a strategic operator with a strong foundation in investments or asset management—ideally from the infrastructure, data centre, or real estate sectors. You should be comfortable navigating both the boardroom and the operations floor, with the ambition to turn a single asset into a market leader.
