Our client is an experiential hospitality group developing a new generation of luxury and lifestyle resorts across Saudi Arabia. These destinations go beyond traditional hotels, blending accommodation with wellness, leisure, nature-led experiences, and community-style elements. Each resort is designed to feel distinctive, grounded in its setting, and operationally sophisticated without being over-engineered.

They are now seeking a General Manager to lead one of these properties — a role suited to a calm, commercially minded leader who understands how complex resorts truly function.

This is not a role for an “all-rounder” in every department. Successful General Managers typically come from a strong core discipline — Rooms, F&B, or similar — and have learned that sustainable performance comes from building great teams, not personal heroics. The ability to recruit, align, and trust strong Heads of Department is central to success in this environment.

The resorts under development are multi-layered operations, combining accommodation with lifestyle and experience components. The General Manager’s role is to bring clarity, rhythm, and financial discipline to that complexity, while creating a culture that allows diverse, multi-cultural teams to perform at their best.

The ideal candidate is composed under pressure, commercially astute, and comfortable operating in emerging or non-urban markets. They lead with presence rather than volume, understand the realities of destination hospitality, and know how to balance brand intent with operational practicality.
