NEW POSTING Posted Oct 19, 2025 by Invenio
Our client is a leading multi-disciplinary design firm with a very strong reputation across hospitality, healthcare, and corporate workplaces. With an expanding footprint across Asia and a dynamic studio in Thailand, they have built a strong creative foundation and are now entering a new phase of growth, with exciting plans to scale operations and strengthen their people and culture strategy. In line with this evolution, they are seeking a strategic, people-focused, and forward-thinking Human Resources Director to lead the next stage of talent development.
As such, they are looking for a Human Resources Director to take full ownership of people strategy, team development, and organisational effectiveness across the Thailand studio. In this high-impact leadership role, you will be responsible for driving employee engagement, supporting workforce planning, and ensuring that HR policies, systems, and tools are aligned with the studio’s culture, business goals, and creative vision.
You will play a pivotal role in building a high-performance studio environment, developing leadership capabilities, and ensuring that the firm retains and nurtures its top creative talent. A key part of the role will be overseeing talent acquisition, performance management, and succession planning, while also championing the integration of new technologies, including AI-driven HR tools. With a strong focus on retention, you will shape engagement strategies and ensure the company remains an employer of choice within the design and creative sectors.
The successful candidate will be a perceptive and proactive HR leader with a strong track record in strategic HR management, employee relations, and talent development. You will have a deep understanding of the creative workforce, fluency in both Thai and English, and experience advising senior leadership on people-related matters. Previous experience in consultancy or design-led environments will be highly advantageous.
A growth mindset, high emotional intelligence, and a passion for developing people are all essential. You will be expected to lead by example, inspire trust, and foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning. Your ability to listen, connect, and build lasting relationships with staff at all levels will be key to success.
This is a unique opportunity for a people-first, strategically minded HR leader to take on a pivotal studio-level role in a fast-scaling creative business. You will be at the heart of the company’s talent strategy, shaping culture, unlocking potential, and ensuring sustainable success.
