Insolvency Practitioner

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing the Insolvency and restructuring (including voluntary liquidations) business in the Cayman Islands. Once developed, you will be responsible for Its operations.
  • Promoting the business in the Insolvency and restructuring space
  • Developing sources of Insolvency and restructuring business both In Cayman and In other onshore jurisdictions.
  • Developing ties with other service teams that can be used to support the Insolvency and restructuring business (I.e. directorships, management accounts, financial reporting, registered office, etc.)
  • Work with senior staff In other offices to Identify potential growth areas for Cayman liquidation services.
  • Work with the Director of Services to take service solutions from the development stage to implementation stage.
  • Building out an operational team to support the Insolvency and restructuring service in Cayman as you grow the business.

Requirements 

  • Recognised Insolvency Practitioner In Cayman who Ideally has already been appointed to engagements by the Cayman courts.
  • Deep understanding of the Insolvency & restructuring space In Cayman.
  • Ability to source and win new work.
  • Self motivated individual who wants to build out the business
  • Strong team working and interpersonal skill.
  • Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
  • Experience of working in a team environment with a keen interest in developing team members
