Our client is one of the fastest-growing Colocation Data Centre Developers in the South East Asia region. With several major new Hyperscale Data Centres under development in Malaysia and Indonesia, they are seeking a strong MEP Engineering candidate to join their busy team on their projects in the Johor region of Malaysia.

As such, they are looking for a Senior Engineer or Manager level candidate with strong experience in the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering environment within Data Centres to join their busy team. You will be the subject matter expert for the design, construction and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems within new data centre projects across their regional portfolio as well as upgrading works to existing data centres.

The successful candidate will be qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have at least 5 years of experience delivering MEP systems in Data Centre environments. You will be experienced in system design for upcoming projects in the region and be able to manage consultants and contractors through the construction and commissioning process. You will likely have spent time working with a Data Centre Developer, Engineering Design Firm or EPCM contractor working on mission-critical projects ideally in the data centre space.
