Invenio Global Search and been retain by an extremely prestigious Investment Manager, opening their first Cayman office, to source an experienced Investment Portfolio and Risk Analyst.

Investment Portfolio and Risk Analyst will have responsibility for the production of both pre-defined and ad hoc multi-faceted investment performance, portfolio exposure and risk reporting.
 

• Ensuring the preparation, validation and distribution of daily, weekly and monthly investment reporting of profit and loss, asset allocation and exposure and risk analyses.
• Liaising effectively with the Front Office team and technical IT professionals to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data in the portfolio management system, associated databases and reporting software.
• Management of the controls and procedures around the reporting process and in particular the amendment and maintenance of existing reports as well as the creation of new reports.
• The report development and overall change control process for new reports, including liaising with all internal stakeholders to determine initial specification, testing and implementing.
• Maintaining data stored in reporting applications ensuring that such data is accurate and up to date.
• Undertaking any other ad-hoc tasks and projects that may be assigned from time to time.

• An internationally recognized professional financial qualification such as ACA, CPA, ACCA, CFA.
• At least 3 years of post-qualification experience within a financial services firm.
• Ability to demonstrate a detailed, in-depth technical understanding across the full spectrum of financial products and real assets.
• Expert knowledge in the calculation of various exposure methodologies, P&L and return calculations for financial products including equities, bonds, commodities, FX and derivatives.
• Highly numerate and with strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• A clear track record of working hands on with portfolio management systems, such as FactSet or Bloomberg databases as well as with BI Software.
• Ability to drive change and innovation whilst maintaining a strong control environment.
