Responsibilities:

• Responsible for distribution, safety and quality control of propane supply, plants, commercial installations and company fleet in Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman
• Responsible for ensuring proper and safe distribution of propane
• Responsible for Plant safety and procedures
• Responsible for propane deliveries via ship and ISO containers
• Develop propane procedures and guidelines
• Ensure that employees receive clear policies and procedures in order to operate within regulatory requirements and as safely as possible
•  Enforce company SOPs and government regulations
• Responsible for propane plant equipment maintenance and safe operations
• Oversight of tank refurbishment
• Review vehicle fleet including maintenance, repairs, and purchases
• Responsible for vehicle and propane compliance for Drivers and Technicians 
• Help with design and installation of commercial installations
• Manage Quality Control Installations and Staff
• Ensure proper propane pressure, supply and safety at customer locations
• Audit customer installations and create remediation plans if necessary
• Develop and manage maintenance schedules for all equipment
• Oversee propane and safety training and contractors
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies
• Communicate results and key indicators to management group
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Directly report to General Manager.

Experience required:

• Expert in the following technical areas: propane safety, propane regulations, PERC CETP, propane truck meters, propane technology, vaporization and propane pressure and BTU calculations.
• Experience in commercial vehicles, heavy equipment, propane pumps, air systems, propane equipment, tank repair, welding, pipework, pipe threading, propane meters, crane operations, crane repair with Blue Cow Ignite and Ignite Mobile knowledge a major plus
• Strong ability to: communicate with staff and managers, appraise problems, formulate solutions, execute action plans, assess results, work with customers, and enforce quality control.
