Regional Legal Counsel, Oil & Gas/ Commodities

Our client, an established Oil & Gas/ Commodities company is looking to hire their first Legal Counsel hire based in Singapore. Reporting to the CEO, this counsel will be responsible in supporting and facilitating business transactions in the Asia Pacific region.
The ideal candidate is:-
– Commonwealth/ Singapore qualified lawyer
– 5 PQE to 10 PQE, trained and practiced with top law firms
– Strong experience in Shipping, Insurance, Claims, General Corporate Commercial
– Adaptable, commercially-savvy, energetic
This will be an exciting role for a Legal Counsel or a Senior Associate with strong shipping experience, looking to step up into a sole counsel role and work directly with the company’s management and external counsel.
