Our client is one of the world’s leading developers and operators of family and all-inclusive resorts globally. With a strong existing resort portfolio in the region and a strong pipeline of new projects underway, they are looking for a Resort Technical Services Manager with strong resort upgrading experience to join their team for an existing resort in West Malaysia.

As the Resort Technical Services Manager, you will have responsibility for managing a team of Technicians and Trades for the general upkeep and maintenance of the resort. You will be part of the Resort EXCOM and must have strong stakeholder management and communication skills. You will be able to design and implement preventative maintenance programmes for villas, hotel rooms, F&B, back of house, and leisure facilities, including the pool and other water-based facilities. You will be leading an extensive resort upgrading programme as part of your duties.

The successful candidate will be qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or another related Engineering Degree. You will have had strong experience dealing with large HVAC infrastructure and have strong problem-solving capabilities. Prior experience in the maintenance and upkeep of large, equipment-complex environments is a prerequisite, ideally in the hospitality resort environment. This will be a resort live-in position with accommodation included within the package.
