As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team in a Bangalore / Hybrid capacity. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing the core backend architecture that powers their next-generation building operations platform.

In this role, you will develop scalable backend systems, APIs, and data services that power next-generation digital twin and smart building platforms. Working closely with product, data, and engineering teams, you will contribute to architecture decisions, integrate external systems, and build secure, high-performance solutions using a modern cloud-native technology stack.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of backend software engineering experience, with strong expertise in Python, API development, and cloud-based applications. You will have a solid understanding of software architecture, security, DevOps practices, and distributed systems, with experience developing scalable solutions in Azure environments highly regarded.

Exposure to smart building technologies, IoT platforms, digital twins, or time-series data environments would be advantageous, as would experience with FastAPI, GraphQL, Dagster, dbt, Docker, Terraform, and Azure services such as APIM, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Active Directory.
