Our client is a leading EPCM contractor delivering complex, high-performance facilities to the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences industries across Asia. With a strong track record in Singapore and a growing pipeline of major projects, they are expanding their Building Services team and are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with deep HVAC expertise to help shape the next phase of their journey.

In this role, you will take the lead on HVAC design for cleanrooms, labs, and production spaces—facilities where precision, reliability, and compliance are everything. From concept through to construction, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions that meet rigorous industry standards. Your work will directly support the development of critical environments for some of the world’s leading pharma and biotech companies.

You’ll be hands-on in developing mechanical concepts, evaluating equipment options, and coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors. Your understanding of airflow control, pressure zoning, temperature and humidity management, and cleanroom classifications will be central to your success. You’ll also contribute to project bids, manage technical input during construction, and provide mentoring support to junior engineers.

We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in mechanical building services design and a deep knowledge of HVAC systems, particularly in the context of GMP-compliant facilities. A background in EPCM, consulting, or contracting environments is ideal, along with familiarity with Singapore’s building codes and international standards like ASHRAE and ISO 14644.
