Our client is one of the region’s fastest growing Data Centre Developers and Operators. As part of their strategic growth plan for the region, they are currently recruiting number of key positions into their organisation.

As such they are seeking a Senior Director level candidate with a background in Design Management for Data Centres to spearhead the design solutions function for them for the APAC region. Within this, you will be responsible for developing market-leading data centre holistic design solutions encompassing Architecture, Civil & Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering components for new data centre facilities to be developed in the region, as well as for upgrading and expansion programmes. You will also have responsibility for developing the solutions roadmap for the region including best practices, problem-solving, continuous improvement, knowledge transfer, value engineering, sustainability and developing and promoting innovation internally and promoting externally to potential customers.

The successful candidate will be qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have their Professional Engineer Qualification. You will have fulfilled a similar function within a similar organisation and spent time in Engineering Design Consultancy previously, with a deep specialisation in Data Centres. You will have strong team management, leadership and communication skills, including bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin. You must be prepared to travel and potentially be based on project sites in the region.
