Our client is one of the fastest-growing Colocation Data Centre Developers in the South East Asia region. With several major new Hyperscale Data Centres under development in Malaysia and Indonesia, they are seeking a VP level Real Estate Investment leader with strong exposure to the Data Centre market in the region, to take on the management of their investment team and asset portfolio, as well as be involved in new investment and divestment activities

Reporting to the CEO you will have responsibility for the performance of their team and assets, covering Singapore and South East Asia. You will have oversight of acquisition and divestment activities as well as responsibility for the overall performance of the fund in ongoing asset and portfolio management. You will manage internal and external stakeholders as well as ensure proper fund administration and reporting procedures are adhered to. This role is designed to succeed the CEO within the next 12 to 18 months and take on the overall management of the business.

The successful candidate will likely be from a Real Estate Investment, Development, or Asset Management background with strong exposure to Real Estate Fund Management. You will ideally have had prior experience leading investment teams and driving portfolio performance and have strong stakeholder management, reporting, and regulatory capabilities. You will have a demonstrable track record of valuations and transaction oversight and be familiar with fund treasury functions such as sourcing and management of debt financing and debt portfolio management.
