Our client is one of the world’s leading full-service Real Estate & Property Consultancies. With a well-established business operating across the North Asia markets, they are looking to further develop their capabilities in the Project Management Consultancy environment and as such, are looking for a senior Project Management Business Leader to join their firm to spearhead the growth of their High Tech Projects business in North Asia, based from Japan.

As the North Asia High Tech Projects Leader, you will be responsible for leading and growing the Project Management team and offering for them for the North Asia markets including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, and potentially China. You will be a seasoned Project and Business Leader, with a demonstrable track record of delivering projects in the North Asia markets, as well as managing a team of Project Managers across a portfolio of projects in a multi-country, multi-project Consultancy P&L environment. You will also take the lead in the work-winning environment and be comfortable networking and leading client pitches as well as managing client stakeholder relationships.

The successful candidate will be qualified in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or another related qualification. You will have a strong track record delivering projects and managing teams in the Project Management Consultancy environment, including High Tech Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Semiconductors and especially focussing on the Data Centre markets. You will be adept at managing a Project Management Consultancy P&L and show capabilities in driving growth and profitability. The successful candidate must be a recognised figure in the Data Centre delivery environment in the region and ideally have lived and worked in Japan with a level of bilingual language capabilities.
