Our client is one of the region’s fastest-growing international Project Management Consultancies, with a proven track record in delivering high-tech, mission-critical developments across Asia. Renowned for their expertise in complex infrastructure, they are now entering an exciting phase of expansion with a major Data Centre project underway in Kuala Lumpur. In line with this growth, they are seeking an experienced and technically strong Project Manager to join their delivery team and help shape the future of digital infrastructure in the region.

As such, they are seeking a Project Manager to oversee project delivery, technical execution, and stakeholder coordination across a large-scale, high-performance facility. In this key delivery role, you will be responsible for driving the project from design through construction, ensuring timelines, quality, and safety standards are met while managing diverse teams and external partners. You will oversee compliance, technical coordination, and execution across multiple disciplines to ensure the project is delivered to the highest standards.

You will play a pivotal role in leading design coordination or site execution, collaborating closely with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution. A strong understanding of local regulations and QA/QC procedures will be essential, along with a focus on operational discipline and on-time delivery. With a fast-paced project environment and international delivery standards, this role requires strong communication skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and a hands-on leadership style.

The successful candidate will bring proven experience in Data Centre, high-tech industrial, or mission-critical projects, along with a strong background in architecture, engineering, or construction management. A deep knowledge of Malaysian building codes, site safety, and quality assurance is essential. Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and working under pressure to meet aggressive delivery timelines will be highly regarded.

A proactive attitude, technical credibility, and the ability to lead by example are all key traits for this role. You will be expected to maintain rigorous standards, work collaboratively with local and regional teams, and contribute to a culture of accountability, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will be qualified in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or another related discipline and ideally have your PMP qualification. You will have a demonstrable track record in the delivery of new build/greenfield Data Centre projects in the APAC region.
