Our client is a globally respected hotel operator with an iconic portfolio of brands spanning luxury, premium, economy and lifestyle segments. With a strong presence across South Asia and an expanding pipeline of high-profile developments, they are entering a dynamic new phase of growth across India. In line with this strategic momentum, they are seeking a visionary and technically astute senior leader to head their Design, Technical & Services function for the region across their limited service to premium brand suite.

As such, they are looking for a Director or Vice President level candidate to take full ownership of design and technical delivery across their India and South Asia portfolio. In this high-impact leadership role, you will be responsible for setting the regional strategy, managing cross-functional technical teams, and ensuring that design, development, and construction meet the highest standards of quality, brand integrity, and operational functionality.

You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire lifecycle of hotel projects from feasibility and concept through to handover, ensuring excellence in both guest experience and development execution. A key part of the role will be engaging with ownership groups, leading design reviews, resolving technical challenges, and maintaining alignment with brand standards and operational needs.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned hospitality development professional with a background in architecture, interior design, or another related design discipline and extensive experience in the hotel sector. You will have a deep understanding of limited service to premium brand requirements, a solid track record in delivering hotel projects, and the credibility to lead both internal teams and external partners across a multi-site regional portfolio of 30+ projects at any one time.

A strategic mindset, strong commercial and design sensibilities, and the ability to lead through influence are essential. You will be expected to represent the brand with confidence, build trust with stakeholders, and foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability within your team.
