Senior Associate – Restructuring & Insolvency

Invenio are pleased to partner with a recognised global leader in Restructuring & Insolvency, to support the growth of their Cayman Islands business.  
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Associate to join their team. The Senior Associate, Restructuring & Insolvency will work directly with the Partners on high profile and complex instructions including insolvency & liquidation, corporate recovery and fraud cases.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support to senior management for investigations and analysis for corporate recovery, liquidation, forensic and fraud investigation assignments.
• Producing high quality deliverables, including reports to clients and to the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands.
• Preparation of liquidation accounts and fee summaries.
• Document management (processing, formatting, filing and tracking engagement documents).
• Liaising with lawyers, creditors, shareholders and regulatory bodies.
• Administer voluntary liquidations .
• Report directly to case managers.
• Building client relationships.

Qualifications

• Post graduate degree.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant accounting experience in a professional services firm (preferably insolvency or public accounting firm).
• Hold, or be actively working towards, a professional accounting designation and/or internationally recognised insolvency qualification.
• Prior experience in regulatory, corporate recovery and/or fraud investigations is preferred.
• Analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel overseas for casework and conferences, when required.
• Enthusiastic readiness to partake in business development efforts.
