Client Director

A respected provider of fiduciary and governance solutions is seeking a Client Director to join its Cayman Islands office. This senior leadership position offers the opportunity to manage a complex portfolio of corporate and fiduciary clients, lead a skilled team, and play a pivotal role in business development and regulatory engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of key client structures, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional service.

• Provide expert oversight in governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

• Drive business development efforts through strategic networking and cross-border collaboration.

• Lead and support a team of professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and performance.

• Oversee internal processes to ensure accurate record-keeping and adherence to regulatory frameworks.

• Collaborate with international offices on group-level initiatives and projects.

• Engage with legal counsel, regulators, and third-party providers as required.

Candidate Profile:

• Holds a recognized professional qualification (e.g., CPA, Attorney, Chartered Secretary), with STEP membership preferred.

• Brings at least 10 years of post-qualification experience, including 5 years in a senior management role within the financial services industry.

• Demonstrates deep knowledge of Cayman Islands legal entities, including trusts, foundations, partnerships, and corporates.

• Experienced in applying local compliance obligations, including AML/CTF, Economic Substance, FATCA/CRS, and Beneficial Ownership.

• Comfortable drafting and reviewing governance documentation.

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
