A leading international fiduciary and corporate services provider is seeking an experienced Associate Director – Fiduciary Services to join its Cayman Islands office. This senior role will be central to delivering governance and oversight to a portfolio of complex corporate, fund, and structured finance entities, while also shaping the future of the fiduciary services offering.
The Associate Director will act as a trusted board representative and governance advisor across Cayman-domiciled structures. The successful candidate will provide fiduciary expertise, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen client relationships with institutional investors, asset managers, and service providers. Alongside client work, the individual will contribute to business development, mentor junior team members, and support the evolution of internal policies and best-practice frameworks.
Serve as a director on the boards of Cayman companies, investment funds, and structured finance vehicles.
Provide strategic oversight of fiduciary structures, with focus on governance, risk, and compliance.
Lead board meetings, review transactions, and safeguard regulatory and statutory compliance.
Partner with legal, compliance, accounting, and administration teams to ensure effective management of client entities.
Act as a key contact for clients, building long-term, trusted relationships.
Develop and expand fiduciary service offerings and contribute to firm-wide initiatives.
Mentor and support team members, promoting excellence and integrity.
Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and drive new business.
Monitor portfolio performance, ensuring accurate financial management and timely invoicing.
8–10 years’ experience in fiduciary services, corporate governance, legal, or financial services, including 3–5 years in a senior management or director-level role.
University degree required; professional qualifications in law, finance, accounting, or AML strongly preferred.
In-depth knowledge of Cayman Islands regulatory requirements and the funds sector.
Proven ability to manage senior client relationships with strong communication and negotiation skills.
High level of integrity, independent judgment, and fiduciary responsibility.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with platforms such as iManage, ViewPoint, or Otter.AI is an advantage.
