With a strong pipeline of high-value works, they are seeking a commercially focused Assistant Manager – Commercial to support cost control and financial performance across active projects.

In this role, you will manage the commercial lifecycle of repair and refit jobs, from detailed estimation through to final invoicing. Working closely with Project Managers, Production, Procurement, and Finance, you will prepare accurate cost estimates, analyse labour and material costs, manage variations, and monitor job profitability to protect margins.

A key focus will be issuing progress, milestone, and final invoices in line with contractual terms, reconciling approved works against actual costs, and ensuring timely billing to maintain healthy cash flow. You will also track budgets, prepare cost-to-complete reports, and maintain clear commercial documentation in compliance with company procedures.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Marine Engineering, or Business Administration, with 5–8 years’ experience in shipyard, marine repair, yacht refit, or engineering services environments. Strong estimating, job costing, and ERP/Excel skills are essential.
