Our client is a leading international shipyard group with operations across Asia, delivering world-class solutions in shipbuilding, conversion, repair and offshore engineering. With a strong reputation for technical excellence and innovation, the business is now entering a new phase of growth and diversification with strategic projects and investments across multiple markets.  Due to a strong pipeline of tenders, they are seeking a commercially driven Tender & Commercial Executive to manage the full lifecycle of bids and project commercial control, from RFQ to close-out.

You will lead the end-to-end tender process, reviewing RFQs, coordinating with Engineering, Planning, Production, QA/QC, Procurement, and HSE teams, and preparing compliant Technical and Commercial Proposals. This includes developing detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, subcontractors, and overheads, reviewing schedules and manpower plans, preparing cash flow forecasts, and supporting management approvals and contract reviews.

Post-award, you will support contract finalisation, conduct internal handovers, set up SAP cost planning and WBS structures, and manage payment milestones and invoicing. During execution, you will monitor budgets, track actual versus forecast costs, prepare and submit variation orders and EOT claims, and maintain margin performance through disciplined cost control and P&L monitoring. At project close-out, you will manage cost reconciliation, final accounts, and SAP closure.

The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline, with 2–3 years’ experience in a shipyard or fabrication yard. Strong skills in cost estimation, contract review, quantity surveying, SAP-based cost control, and professional English communication are essential.
