Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to design and implement strategies for recruitment, retention, promotion, and succession planning across Cayman and the Bahamas.
  • Support the talent review process to build internal bench strength and align talent initiatives with business goals.
  • Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers, developing sourcing and recruitment strategies and building strong community and organizational relationships.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including job descriptions, evaluation systems, and performance standards.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on culture, goal-setting, policy development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Track, analyze, and report HR metrics, offering recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, employee relations programs, and recognition efforts to strengthen workplace culture.
  • Drive talent management initiatives, including training, leadership development, and career progression programs.
  • Collaborate on organizational development interventions to address issues, improve morale, and enhance overall effectiveness.
  • Contribute to group-wide HR initiatives, projects, and operational planning, including conducting exit interviews and analyzing workforce trends.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of broad HR experience across all major functions of human resources.
  • Senior HR certification (SPHR or equivalent) preferred; equivalent education and experience also considered.
  • Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, including leadership-level hiring.
  • Background in designing and executing talent management programs spanning recruitment, performance management, coaching, and analytics.
  • Strong skills in data analysis, metrics tracking, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in modern HR technologies and systems, including talent management and time/attendance tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across all organizational levels.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of HR laws, trends, and best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and foster an inclusive workplace culture.
