Our client is one of the world’s leading global Project Management Consultancies, renowned for delivering complex, mission-critical developments across sectors including data centres, life sciences, and infrastructure. With a strong and growing presence across Europe, they are supporting the delivery of large-scale data centre campuses in Denmark and are now entering a critical phase of project execution. In line with this, they are seeking a technically strong and solutions-driven Commissioning Lead to oversee commissioning activities and ensure successful project handover.
As such, they are looking for a Commissioning Lead to take full ownership of commissioning strategy and execution, acting as the client’s eyes and ears throughout the final and most critical stages of delivery. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for driving commissioning performance, coordinating across multiple stakeholders, and ensuring all systems are tested, validated, and delivered in line with project requirements.
You will play a key role in leading and mentoring a site-based team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Working closely with Tier 1 A&E consultants, General Contractors, and specialist vendors, you will ensure all commissioning activities are aligned, coordinated, and delivered to the highest standards. A critical part of the role will involve stepping in when contractors or vendors are underperforming, proactively resolving issues, and maintaining momentum across the programme.
With a strong technical grounding, you will oversee the commissioning of MEP systems and critical infrastructure, ensuring full system integration, performance validation, and readiness for operations. While prior data centre experience (hyperscale or colocation) is highly desirable, candidates with strong commissioning experience across oil & gas, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other large-scale, mission-critical environments will also be considered.
The successful candidate will bring strong experience in commissioning or project delivery within complex projects, with a strong understanding of MEP systems. You will be confident in a client-facing role, able to engage effectively with Tier 1 consultants and contractors, and possess strong leadership and team management capabilities. A clear focus on safety, quality, and delivery excellence is essential, along with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
