We are seeking a Corporate Actuary to join our dynamic team in Cayman. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting the company’s growth strategy by focusing on annuity reinsurance products, asset-liability management, and investment-focused actuarial analysis. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, investment teams, and other cross-functional groups to drive strategic decision-making, risk management, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead actuarial analysis and modeling for annuity reinsurance transactions with a focus on pricing, structuring, and risk assessment.

• Partner with the investment team on asset-liability management (ALM), portfolio optimization, and investment strategy alignment with reinsurance liabilities.

• Develop and maintain actuarial models for valuation, capital management, and stress testing.

• Support quarterly and annual reporting requirements, including statutory, regulatory, and economic capital reporting.

• Provide actuarial insights on product development, particularly for investment-oriented reinsurance solutions.

• Contribute to the development of experience studies, assumption setting, and sensitivity testing.

• Collaborate with finance, risk, and operations teams to support strategic initiatives and enhance operational efficiency.

• Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks within the life and annuity reinsurance sector.

Qualifications & Experience

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA), or equivalent actuarial designation (or near-Fellow with relevant experience).

• Minimum of 5–8 years of actuarial experience in life insurance, annuities, or reinsurance.

• Strong background in investments, ALM, or capital management.

• Proficiency in actuarial modeling software (e.g., Prophet, AXIS, or equivalent) and strong Excel/VBA or programming skills (Python, R, SQL a plus).

• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex actuarial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience in the Cayman or Bermuda markets is an asset but not required.
