Our client is a leading multi-disciplinary design and engineering firm, headquartered in Kuwait, with a network of offices across the Middle East and North Africa, they have a reputation for design and delivery on major projects in the building and infrastructure environment around the world.

As part of an initiative to develop their global Construction practice, they are currently seeking a seasoned business unit leader to head their Structural Engineering Practice in Kuwait.

The position will hold full responsibility for the business unit P&L and oversight of engineering project delivery to clients. You will lead the Structural division ensuring quality of engineering design and project delivery and growing a team of over 30 Engineers. You will also drive the work-winning function, securing new projects for your team as well as client stakeholder management and engagement.

The ideal candidate will be qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering, ideally with professional accreditation. You will have a demonstrable track record of leading and growing Engineering Design Consultancy businesses in the Structural Engineering environment. You will have a broad range of project experience covering large commercial building projects to infrastructure and subterranean engineering. You must have worked in the Kuwait or Middle Eastern markets previously and have a detailed understanding of the local codes and regulations. You would have strong team management experience alongside developing and growing the business unit P&L.
