Our client is a leading EPCM contractor specialising in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences markets. Having been established in Singapore for several years, they are experiencing strong growth with a number of high profile projects ahead of them in the pipeline. With this in mind, they are seeking several key staff to join their busy and growing team.

As such, they are looking for a Department Head for their Process Engineering team. As the Head of Process Engineering, you will lead a small team of Engineers in the design and delivery of projects in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences industries in Singapore and the region. Working in conjunction with other disciplines, you will work collaboratively to produce market-leading solutions throughout the work-winning bid phases, into detailed design and managing the engineering design delivery throughout the construction process. You will be able to develop innovative designs from concept stage, through basic design and detailed design. You will have a thorough understanding of local and international equipment suppliers and vendors for equipment specification and sub-contract bid analysis and selection. You will be able to develop, mentor and grow a high-performing Process Design team.

The successful candidate will be qualified in Chemical Engineering or another related degree. You will have strong experience in the design and development of large-scale projects in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or Biopharma industry with a strong understanding and experience of local building and design regulations in the Singapore market. You will have prior experience in leading and developing a small team and likely have been working for an EPCM firm, Major Contractor or Engineering Consultancy operating in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences space.
