Our client is a leading global Project Management Consultancy and one of the world’s global Quantity Surveying and Cost Management practices, renowned for delivering complex, mission-critical developments across sectors including data centres, life sciences, and infrastructure. With a rapidly expanding footprint across Europe, they are supporting the delivery of large-scale data centre campuses in Finland and are now entering a critical phase of growth. In line with this expansion, they are seeking a strong and solutions-driven Project Director to lead on-site delivery and represent the client at the highest level.

As such, they are looking for a Project Director to take full ownership of campus-level delivery, acting as the client’s eyes and ears on the ground while driving performance across all stakeholders. In this high-impact leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing programme execution, managing consultant and contractor performance, and ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and schedule expectations across a complex, high-value development.

You will play a pivotal role in leading and mentoring a site-based team of professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment. Working closely with Tier 1 A&E consultants, General Contractors, and key vendors, you will ensure seamless coordination and hold all parties accountable for delivery. A key part of the role will be proactively identifying risks, stepping in when delivery partners are underperforming, and driving solutions to maintain project momentum.

With a strong technical grounding, you will provide oversight of MEP systems and critical infrastructure, ensuring design intent is carried through to execution. While prior data centre experience (hyperscale or colocation) is highly advantageous, candidates from oil & gas, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other large-scale, mission-critical environments with solid MEP understanding will also be considered.

The successful candidate will bring strong experience in project management or construction delivery, with the ability to operate as a senior figurehead on site. You will be confident in a client-facing capacity, able to influence Tier 1 consultants and contractors, and possess strong leadership and people management skills. A clear focus on safety, quality, and delivery excellence is essential, along with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
