Our client is one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing colocation data centre developers, with major hyperscale facilities underway in Malaysia and Indonesia. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a Regional Development Leader to take ownership of a multi-project portfolio, overseeing end-to-end development across the region.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, programme leadership, and on-the-ground delivery. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the regional master programme is structured, implemented, and actively maintained. That includes driving key milestones, maintaining tight cost and budget control, and aligning local development teams to corporate delivery goals. You’ll support and challenge individual project teams, helping them navigate through planning, procurement, construction and handover phases.

A flagship project in Johor—currently in early-stage construction—will be a major focus initially. But your remit spans the full development pipeline, setting a framework for regional consistency and delivery excellence. You’ll act as the key point of coordination between local teams and corporate stakeholders, ensuring governance, reporting, and decision-making are clear and effective.

We’re looking for a proven leader with a strong track record in delivering large, MEP-intensive developments—ideally data centres, though other complex assets such as pharma or high-tech industrial projects are also relevant. You’ll have operated at a strategic level, but with deep project delivery knowledge and experience working with international developers, tech giants, or project consultancies.
