Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing tasks, including analyzing market trends and coordinating product orders for marketing initiatives set by manufacturers and brand managers.
- Communicate and negotiate with international suppliers to ensure optimal terms.
- Monitor and evaluate market trends to support ordering decisions.
- Prepare correspondence, maintain professional email communication, and handle basic letter writing tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a purchasing role, preferably in the food retail or wholesale sector.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate Degree preferred).
- Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, including marketing-driven product requirements.
- Proficiency in email etiquette and basic letter writing.
