Requirements: 

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or similar construction 
• Significant experience in design / construction technology and construction project management.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Valid CI Group 2 driving license and own transportation.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant work experience 
• Broad experience the management of all phases of capital building projects
• Proficient experience with Project Management software
• Knowledge of PWD and Procurement guidelines 
• Knowledge of appropriate building codes, Financial Regulations and tendering & procurement processes

Responsibilities: 

• Work closely with the Senior Manager – Project Management, 2 Project Managers and 2 Assistant Project Managers in creating and implementing project work plans, revising plans/details based on client needs.
• Manages and coordinates the project management of between 10 and 20 capital building projects per annum
• Manages the performance of between 10 and 25 building related construction contracts at any one time
• Monitors the performance of between 8 and 12 building related external consultant contracts (architectural, engineering, quantity surveying, specialized services) at any one time
• Prepares and reviews approximately 10 – 25 reports monthly as prepared by section staff before passing to the client
• Implement company methodologies and project principles
• Oversee quality assurance procedures, preparing project reviews and document project details.
• Plans and coordinates approximately 3-5construction/project meetings and activities per week with at least 3-5 site visits for the same period.
