Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized physiotherapy care to postpartum patients within a hospital ward setting.
• Conduct comprehensive pelvic floor assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Support recovery from childbirth-related conditions such as incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and diastasis recti.
• Deliver patient education on pelvic health, body mechanics, and postpartum recovery exercises.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation in line with hospital protocols.
• Contribute to patient discharge planning and provide follow-up recommendations as needed.

Requirements:

• Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in physiotherapy, with at least 3 years specializing in pelvic health or women’s health.
• Proven experience supporting postpartum patients in a hospital or clinical setting.
• In-depth knowledge of pelvic floor dysfunctions and rehabilitation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Licensure or eligibility for registration to practice as a physiotherapist, depending on location.
• Commitment to continuing professional development in women’s health physiotherapy.
