Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with musculoskeletal, spinal, and neuromuscular
    conditions using evidence-based chiropractic care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to reduce pain, improve mobility,
    and restore function.
  • Provide chiropractic adjustments, manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, rehabilitation
    exercises, and patient education.
  • Monitor patient progress, reassess outcomes, and modify treatment plans as clinically
    appropriate.
  • Collaborate with physicians, physiotherapists, massage therapists, occupational therapists,
    and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with
    professional and regulatory standards.
  • Promote injury prevention, ergonomic advice, and lifestyle modifications to support longterm musculoskeletal health.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing
    professional development.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ post-licensure clinical experience as a Chiropractor.
  • Fully licensed for independent practice (no associate, provisional, or supervised status).
  • Eligible for registration with the Cayman Islands Council for Professions Allied with Medicine
    (CPAM).
  • Strong clinical assessment, spinal manipulation, rehabilitation planning, and patient education
    skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical documentation abilities.

CPAM Registration Eligibility

Candidates should be eligible for registration with the Cayman Islands Council for Professions Allied with Medicine (CPAM). Qualifications commonly considered eligible (subject to CPAM approval) include:

  • United States: Licensed Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) holding an active state licence.
  • United Kingdom: Chiropractor registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC).
  • Canada: Chiropractor licensed by the applicable provincial chiropractic regulatory authority.
  • Australia: AHPRA Registered Chiropractor.
  • South Africa: Registered Chiropractor with the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA).
  • New Zealand: Registered Chiropractor with the New Zealand Chiropractic Board.
  • Ireland: Chiropractor registered with the Chiropractic Association of Ireland (CAI) or another recognized regulatory body.
  • Jamaica: Chiropractor recognized by the Council for Professions Supplementary to Medicine (CPSM) Jamaica or another relevant regulatory authority.
