An iconic stadium project in Ho Chi Minh City is set to become a major landmark for Vietnam. Our client, a leading international cost consultancy with a strong presence across Asia-Pacific, is seeking a Project Cost Director to help shape its delivery from the outset.

Based in HCMC, you will work closely with the client and design team, guiding the commercial decisions that turn an ambitious vision into a deliverable project. Your strongest contribution will be in pre-contract: establishing robust budgets, managing costs as the design evolves, shaping procurement strategy and leading tender evaluations and negotiations. You will bring the confidence to challenge assumptions, identify risks early and find value while protecting the project’s quality and ambition.

You will lead the project cost management team and act as the client’s trusted commercial advisor, maintaining oversight through construction and completion. This calls for someone who combines technical depth with clear communication, sound judgement and the ability to build confidence among senior stakeholders.

You will have a relevant degree and a strong consultancy track record leading cost management on major, complex developments, with exceptional pre-contract expertise. Stadium, arena or major sports venue experience will be highly regarded, as will experience in Vietnam or Southeast Asia. MRICS or an equivalent professional qualification would be advantageous.
