Our client is one of the world’s leading developers and operators of family and all-inclusive resorts globally. With a strong existing resort portfolio in the region and a strong pipeline of new projects underway, they are looking for a Resort Technical Services Manager with strong pre-opening experience to join their team for an upcoming resort in Kota Kinabalu.

As the Resort Technical Services Manager, you will have responsibility for managing a team of Technicians and Trades for the general upkeep and maintenance of the resort. You will be part of the Resort EXCOM and must have strong stakeholder management and communication skills. You will be able to design and implement preventative maintenance programmes for villas, hotel rooms, F&B, back of house, and leisure facilities, including the pool and other water-based facilities. You will be a key member of the resort preopening team and must have prior experience in large-scale resort preopening programmes. You will also have responsibilities for overseeing and new construction and upgrading works to the resort.

The successful candidate will be qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or another related Engineering Degree. You will have had strong experience dealing with large HVAC infrastructure and have strong problem-solving capabilities. Prior experience in the maintenance and upkeep of large, equipment-complex environments is a prerequisite, ideally in the hospitality resort environment. This will be a resort live-in position with accommodation included within the package.
