Our client is a leading international cost consultancy with a strong presence across Asia-Pacific, delivering complex corporate real estate programmes for global financial institutions. They are seeking an Associate Director, Regional Cost Management APAC to join the Corporate Real Estate team of a leading banking client on a long-term secondment. Based in Singapore, you will oversee a regional portfolio of workplace fit-out projects, office relocations, refurbishments, and moves, adds and changes (MAC) initiatives across multiple APAC markets.

Acting as the regional commercial lead, you will provide strategic cost management across the full project lifecycle, ensuring consistency, governance, and commercial excellence across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Corporate Real Estate, Procurement, Finance, Design and Project Management, serving as the trusted advisor on all cost-related matters while driving value, mitigating risk, and supporting informed business decisions.

You will lead pre- and post-contract cost management activities including estimating, cost planning, procurement, tender evaluations, contract administration, value engineering, lifecycle costing, and change management. You will establish regional cost benchmarks, oversee portfolio reporting, monitor budgets and financial performance, manage commercial negotiations, and ensure robust governance, financial controls, and client compliance across all projects.

In addition, you will lead and develop a team of cost professionals across the region, supporting resource planning, mentoring, recruitment, and continuous improvement while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture. You will also work closely with project teams to challenge project assumptions, develop innovative commercial solutions, and enhance programme delivery across the regional portfolio.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline and demonstrate a strong track record delivering cost management services within a consultancy environment. Experience supporting financial institutions or large corporate occupiers across workplace fit-out and corporate real estate programmes will be highly advantageous. You will bring exceptional stakeholder management skills, strong commercial acumen, and experience managing regional or multi-country project portfolios.
