Our client is a leading global construction and project management consultancy with a strong track record delivering some of the world’s most complex and high-profile developments. With an established presence across Asia Pacific and a growing portfolio of mission-critical projects, they are at the forefront of supporting hyperscale and enterprise clients in the delivery of next-generation data centre infrastructure. Having built a solid foundation in the data centre market, they are now entering a new phase of project expansion.
Due to continued project growth, they are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join their Singapore team and play a key role in the delivery of a data centre development. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to one of Singapore’s landmark mission-critical projects while working within a globally respected consultancy environment.
As the HSE Advisor, you will act as the client’s on-site health and safety representative, working closely with contractors, consultants and project stakeholders to promote and maintain the highest standards of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) across the project. You will proactively monitor contractor performance, oversee high-risk construction activities, conduct site inspections and audits, identify emerging risks, and provide practical recommendations to ensure safe project delivery throughout all phases of construction and commissioning.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record delivering health and safety oversight on large-scale data centre, mission-critical, industrial, infrastructure or complex construction projects. Experience working within a project management consultancy, client-side organisation or major contractor environment will be highly regarded.
You will demonstrate strong expertise in construction safety management, contractor auditing, incident investigation, risk assessment, safety inspections, regulatory compliance and EHS management systems. Experience monitoring high-risk activities, including lifting operations, excavation, temporary works, work at height, live electrical works and heavy construction activities, is essential. Familiarity with international safety standards and best practice, alongside relevant local statutory safety certifications, is required.
This role requires a proactive and highly visible safety professional with excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills. You will be confident engaging with contractors and project teams, delivering safety training, challenging unsafe behaviours, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering a strong safety culture across a fast-paced, mission-critical construction environment.
In return, you will join a high-performing project team delivering one of Singapore’s most significant hyperscale data centre developments, gaining exposure to a complex mission-critical environment while working alongside industry-leading professionals within a globally recognised consultancy.
