Responsibilities

• Provide therapy for couples, families, and relationships, as well as individual counseling for
  adults experiencing a range of emotional or behavioral concerns.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with external providers to support comprehensive treatment.
• Participate in community events throughout the year to promote mental health education and
  advocacy.
• Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation within the electronic health record system.
  

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of post-licensure clinical experience.
• Licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Psychologist (doctoral level), Mental Health
  Counselor (master’s level), or Clinical Social Worker.
• Eligible for registration with the Cayman Islands Health Regulatory Council (CPAM).
• Licensure must originate from one of the following regions: Jamaica, USA, Canada, UK, South
  Africa, or Australia.
• Advanced training and experience in couples therapy, including completion of Gottman Method
  training.
• Specialized experience in trauma treatment (e.g., EMDR certification or similar).
• Demonstrated competence in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, Somatic
  Experiencing, or related approaches.
• Experience working with diverse cultural populations; experience with first responders is
  preferred.
• Warm, approachable clinical presence with strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to maintain accurate and timely records in the EHR system.
