Senior IT Support Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Provide IT support, troubleshooting, and problem-solving for technology issues.
  • Act as a lead, helping to mentor and guide junior IT Support Analysts.
  • Coordinate with the IT Manager and other team members to resolve more complex issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components.
  • Assist in managing system and data backup processes and disaster recovery planning.
  • Monitor system performance and provide security measures, troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.
  • Document IT support actions to create a clear history of actions and prevent recurring issues.
  • Contribute to IT project planning and execution.
  • Assist in testing and evaluating new technology and software.
  • Assist with organizing and scheduling upgrades and maintenance.
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and ensure excellent responsiveness and rectification for end user issues.
  • Ensure system documentation is current and readily accessible via online documentation portal.
  • Preserve assets, information security and control structure, ensuring security of data and network access.
  • Assist with upgrading systems to enable compatible software on all computers.
  • Repair or replace damaged hardware.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an IT support role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting basic to intermediate technical issues.
  • Familiarity with the installation of various IT applications and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Preferred experience in training and mentoring other team members.
  • A customer-oriented approach with patience and ability to manage challenging situations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, data storage systems, and telephone systems.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Office 365 and Azure would be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
