Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end-users for various hardware and software issues.
  • Analyse complex IT systems and applications, identify problems, and propose solutions.
  • Design, develop, and implement IT solutions that meet the organisation’s needs.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure smooth system operation and integration.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with computer systems, networks, and applications.
  • Participate in the planning and executing of IT projects, including upgrades and installations.
  • Create technical documentation, including user guides and manuals.
  • Keep current with emerging technologies and evaluate their potential use in the organisation.
  • Train end-users in new technologies, software, and applications.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
  • Making sure IT assets are distributed and user configuration is completed during the onboarding process.
  • Collecting IT assets during and restricting user access during the offboarding process.
  • Assist in providing IT orientation to new joiners.
  • Responsible for curating, executing, auditing and maintaining quarterly IT training for all staff.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
  • Support the IT team’s business continuity objectives when required. Assist with organising and scheduling upgrades and maintenance.
  • Troubleshooted, diagnosed and resolved Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot software-related issues related to Microsoft O365, CRM and any other software packages the firm uses. 
  • Conduct system tests and deploy updates to software, servers, and hardware.
  • Preserve assets, information security and control structure, ensuring the security of data and network access.
  • Assist with upgrading systems to enable compatible software on all computers.

Requirements

  • At least three to five years of experience in an IT infrastructure / security role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and various operating systems.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting basic to intermediate technical issues.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Preferred experience in training and mentoring other team members.
  • A customer-oriented approach with patience and the ability to manage challenging situations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of computer systems, security, Microsoft Intune and Cisco networking.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Certifications in Office 365, Azure and Cloud Security would be beneficial.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Must be amenable to working “out of office hours” and on-call as needed.
