Laundry Assistant

Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, uniforms, towels, and other laundry items.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, irons, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or missing items and report any issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
- Handle laundry supplies, including detergents and cleaning products, appropriately.
- Follow established hygiene, safety, and laundry procedures.
- Assist with storing and distributing clean laundry as needed.
- Support the wider housekeeping or facilities team when required.
Requirements
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, hotel, or similar experience is preferred.
- Good attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Physically fit and comfortable with standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when required.
