Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely,
  efficiently, and in accordance with plans and specifications.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain
  productivity and project schedules.
• Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents to ensure work is completed
  accurately and to required standards.
• Monitor project progress, quality, materials, and workmanship while identifying and resolving
  issues before they impact the schedule.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, consultants, and clients to ensure
  effective communication and smooth project delivery.
• Enforce site safety procedures, quality standards, and compliance with relevant building codes
  and regulations.
• Assist with scheduling, resource planning, material deliveries, inspections, and coordination of
  multiple trades on site.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and communicate progress, delays, changes, and site
  requirements to project management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, Site Superintendent, General
  Superintendent, or similar senior site leadership role.
• Strong experience overseeing commercial and/or residential construction projects from ground-up construction through completion.
• Experience managing subcontractors, trades, suppliers, schedules, inspections, and day-to-day
  site operations.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building practices, drawings, specifications, and
  quality-control procedures.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and manage projects involving commercial buildings,
  residential developments, fit-outs, civil works, refurbishment, and structural construction.
• Strong leadership, communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore would be an advantage.
• Relevant construction qualifications, certifications, and experience working in the Caribbean or a
  similar international environment would be an advantage.
