Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on patient needs.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, fluency, voice, and
social communication skills. - Work closely with patients, families, teachers, and healthcare professionals to support therapy
goals. - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, therapy notes, and progress reports.
- Provide guidance and training to caregivers and family members on strategies to support
communication development. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, psychologists, occupational
therapists, and educators.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech and Language Therapy, or
a related field. - Valid professional license or registration as required by the relevant regulatory body.
- Clinical experience working with children, adults, or both.
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders and therapeutic
techniques.
