Responsibilities

• Assess infants, children, and adolescents to evaluate developmental, sensory, cognitive, motor, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance participation in daily activities, school, play, and self-care.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions tailored to each child’s developmental needs and goals.
• Monitor patient progress, update treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
• Educate parents and caregivers on home programs, sensory strategies, adaptive equipment, and techniques to support ongoing development.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to team initiatives and other duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current Occupational Therapist registration/licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in the required jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with pediatric patients in a clinical or rehabilitation setting.
• Experience treating children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, cerebral palsy, sensory processing disorders, or other pediatric conditions is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy principles and evidence-based interventions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
