Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance across commercial and residential properties.
• Assist with carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, and other basic maintenance tasks as directed.
• Complete assigned work orders efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Support maintenance projects, renovations, equipment installations, and emergency repairs.
• Inspect buildings and equipment, identify maintenance issues, and report repair needs to supervisors.
• Assist with moving materials, equipment, furniture, and supplies as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Support inventory management by assisting with the receipt, storage, and use of maintenance materials and supplies.
• Follow health and safety procedures and respond to after-hours or emergency maintenance requests when required.
• Perform other maintenance and facility support duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in general maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction, or a related trade.
• Practical experience with general building maintenance, including basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, landscaping, or HVAC repairs.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials, working at heights, and performing manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
